LIC Market PLus Policy Status - How to check? |

Market plus I , is LIC’s unit-linked deferred annuity plan, including four investment choices — bond fund, secured fund, balanced fund and growth fund. However it is mainly a annuity product. On the maturity of this policy, the fund value will be used to provide a pension to the policy holder, based on the current annuity rate at that time. The policyholder can also use the choice of commuting equal to one third of the fund value in lump sum. In case of death of policy holder, the fund value together with the riders, if any, will be given in lump sum or as pension. As riders like life cover, double accident benefit and critical illness benefit are offered, the policy can be taken without these riders too.
The current status of market plus policy can be checked online on LIC’s official website. You have to enroll your policy into customer’s portal. There you can see the number of unit’s allotted and current value (NAV) of particular fund. Number of units multiplied by current value is your fund value.
