Lic Policy Status

The policy holders of Life Insurance Corporation of India can check the status of their policy online on LIC's website www.licindia.in. You are required to complete the registration process on customer portal. You need to have your policy number and installment premium details with you while registering on website.You will get an email from LIC on successful registration.

How to login login?
Login option is provided on LIC website Home Page for the use of registered users. Login with your credentials generated at the time to registration to see the list of already enrolled policies.

How to register?
All new customers or users must complete the registration process online and generate their own username and password.

• The username can be alphanumeric, with characters dot and underscore as well.
• The password have to be in between 8 to 30 characters only.
• Some marked (*) information is mandatory which and cannot be left empty.
• The pincode you enter cannot be above 6-digits.
• The e-mail address entered should not be invalid one for more communication.
• The user-id selected should be unique.
• Password should be kept private.

After successful registration , the policy holder would get an email sent by An auto-responder mail as confirmation of successful registration.

How to Enrol Policy?
Once you login with your username and password, you can see the tab " view enrolled policies" Click on this tab to see the list of enrolled polcies. Click on the policy number of which you want to see the status.

If you want to enroll additional policies later time and not instantly after the completion of Registration, in that case you can do so any time and any number of times by logging in to your account.

Please note that, you may enroll policies of which you are either the Proposer or Life Assured.
You can validate the enrollment by taking print of the form, sign it and submit it to the nearest LIC Branch where no less than one policy mentioned in the form is being serviced. The Branch where you have submitted the form will give you an acknowledgement based on your userid.

The Branch will carry out the validation of all your policies after carrying out essential examination with the policy docket. The procedure of enrolment is essential to make easy authorized access to particular functionalities offered online for example request for change of address etc.

Policy Status -
On successful registration, the customer can access information regarding status of LIC policy’s, loan, revival, premium due, policy calendar, maturity calendar etc.
